#MeWriting I’m Brad Hutchings. Mmojo.net (pronounced: Moe Joe) is my home for my generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) projects. I’m generally a lot of fun to be around, but I am deadly serious about AI. That’s my serious face at left.
I have watched as my industry — the tech industry — has asked you to trade your privacy, your dignity, your intellect, and a monthly subscription fee for gated access to GenAI algorithms. And yet, your PC or laptop is already capable of performing the delightful tasks that large language models (LLMs) actually perform well. I make and give away software for that.
I’m not a slick marketing guy. I’m not selling snake oil. I’m not funded by venture capital or angel money. I understand how these systems actually work because I have the academic training1 and 35+ years of industry experience to understand them. The code. The illusions. The business. My mission is to build tools and products that make these systems work humanely for you.

Through this site, I share my observations and thoughts, my code, my user interface innovations, my LLM server software, and my personal/family LLM appliance (pictured at right). Some things are free and some are offered for sale. When you buy from me, you enable my mission. All writing is marked as my own, unless it is marked as LLM generated. I am, at my core, pro-human and anti-bullshit. I try to set a good example.
Please explore the links at the top right. There are many ways to join me and support me on my mission. I hope you will!
